When I was in two-week quarantine in a hotel room in Tokyo after coming back from my sabbatical leave in Britain at the beginning of April 2020, I tried producing my own bookplate using a William-Morris style decorative frame and a capital with my name printed in a Beowulf-manuscript style font. After I went home, I printed it on slightly yellowish traditional Japanese paper, and many of my books have it now. If you find a book with this bookplate somewhere, that belongs to me!
